SERVE & RETURN

"What we put into the universe comes back to us." That's an adage I have heard for many years and believe it to be true. It's similar to, "you reap what you sow".

When it comes to babies and young children, our interactions with them are such a crucial part to their growth and development. What are we serving our children? What will we get in return for what we are serving them?

Young seven-year-old Molly Wright gives us a great deal to consider when it comes to our interactions with babies and young children. She is definitely an example of Serve and Return. We should be as invested on the return of our efforts with our children as we are on the return of our money we invest. There is no amount of money that equates to quality, meaningful interactions with our children.
