Brunching With a Purpose

As many of you know, I blog from time to time. Recently, a group I belong to, D.I.V.A. Brunch, asked that I keep up with the blogging for our many events. What a great idea! This will help me blog on a monthly basis at least.
I will write the blogs for my group and share them here with you all as well. I'm really looking forward to this. I spent my entire evening tonight getting our blog page for the group all caught up on the last three months of our Brunching and Purposeful volunteer work. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Read Across America

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!!! The famous author, Theodor Seuss Geisel, was born on March 2, 1904. He is famous for books such as The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, Horton Hears a Who!, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Lorax, Fox in Socks, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, and many others.
All four of our children grew up listening to Dr. Seuss stories read by us.

In celebration of this famous author and his works, today, March 2nd, is known as READ ACROSS AMERICA DAY. Please take time out to read to your children everyday; when you pick up a book, "Oh, the places you"lol go!"

By the way, stop by Target today and pick up a copy of The Cat in the Hat. It's on sale for only 5.00

First Take

Am I the only one who has a slight addiction to this show? I absolutely love watching First Take in the mornings while getting dressed for work. Being a sports follower, I really like hearing what they have to say. Stephen A. Smith, Keri, and Skip have great chemistry; even when they agree to disagree.
Whether you watched the game, missed it, want to know what's going on in the sports world, this is one of the shows you can get your sports fix from!

Happy Monday! Hope you got your sports fix this morning. I sure did!
